What’s the average transit time?

Sourcing from Latin America will reduce delivery times to less than half from factory Asia.

Modern times with new global macroeconomic factors, market disruptions, and an unplanned health pandemic have contributed to the massive broken supply chains all over the world. As is well known, there has been a significant price increase and longer lead times impacting the import and export markets, especially between the Asian Markets and North America

One of the advantages of sourcing from Latin America with Exporta is that transportation costs and times are faster and logistics are more efficient.  To enable this, we have multiple transportation partnerships to provide low-cost and quick shipping of products from Latin America to the United States.

Taking this into account, the transit times will vary depending on the route, transportation method, and market conditions. Under normal conditions, average transit times from LATAM to North America are faster than Asian Market ones, as the following common transport modes:

  • for Air Express range from 3 to 7 days;
  • Air Cargo from 5 to 10 days;
  • Ocean Cargo from 15 to 25 days;
  • Inland Freight from 5 to 10 days.

Whenever you are already handling a purchase order with some of the Suppliers within Exporta's network, please review the shipment status information in your order section.
