Secure Your Account

  1. Set a strong and unique password

Using the same password to log in to multiple accounts increases your security risk. To protect your online accounts, first create a strong, unique password that is at least eight characters long.

  2. Keep account information up to date

Make sure your email address, phone number, mailing addresses, and payment methods are current.

Device and network security

  1. Protect your device

Lock your device screen with a password and keep your device software up to date.

  2. Secure your wireless network

Secure your Wi-Fi router with a password. If you don't secure your router, other people can access your network and your personal information. Be sure to change your router's administrator password as soon as you set up your wireless network.

  3. Beware of phishing scams

Phishing scams are attempts made by bad actors, to trick you into revealing your personal information. Don’t reply to suspicious emails, calls, instant messages or texts, or pop-up windows that ask for personal information (ex. passwords or credit card numbers).
